To help raise awareness about the risk of heart disease in women, Singing River Health System and American Heart Association are encouraging families to participate in the second annual Wear Red Bridge Walk, 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 28 on the Biloxi Bay Bridge.
Refreshments will be provided in the Isle Casino parking lot and at the foot of the bridge on Ocean Springs side. An “all red” cocktail reception will be held at Ocean Springs Yacht Club after the walk. The bridge walk will correspond with the inaugural Red Dress Regatta at Ocean Springs Yacht Club, scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. To register for the regatta, call 850-499-2217.
